Every Saturday morning, weather permitting, a group of old friends and new friends get together to lace up the skates and chase a rubber biscuit around a sheet of ice. Without this weekly get together, the long, drawn out Minnesota winters would unbearable.
Even the weekly get togethers would be pretty unbearable to me, I can't skate, and I don't like the cold, it hurts.
